Get Social. One of the most effective ways to raise awareness and raise funds is through social media. Use the hashtag #{{campaign.hashtag}} and link to your customized personal page {{participantUrl}}, or your team’s page in all your posts.
Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Fundraising, raising awareness, and encouraging people to act is not a one-and-done thing. People need to hear/see your message 15-25 times before it has an impact. You’re not nagging, your inspiring action!
Have Fun! We’re serious about funding programs that support the patient journey today and drive us forward to a cure tomorrow, but we want you to enjoy the journey! Don’t take any of it too seriously and let’s have some fun! Work with your team members to create a fun team theme, have pre-walk parties, fundraise together, and more. Your only limits here are your own creativity!
